Natalia Alamo

Natalia Alamo, M.S., is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist who has always been curious about how people make sense of their lives, especially when facing challenges and major transitions. This curiosity led her to the field of therapy, where she is passionate about helping clients move through difficult moments in ways that foster a deeper understanding of themselves and a renewed appreciation for the relationships that shape their lives.

She works with both individuals and couples navigating the natural (and sometimes messy) transitions that come with being human. Whether you’re moving through a breakup or starting a new relationship, adjusting to a career or academic shift, or simply trying to understand yourself better as you grow, her goal is to provide a grounded space to process, reflect, and move forward with intention, at your pace.

Natalia’s practice focuses on concerns such as self-esteem and confidence building, anxiety, family conflict, rumination and negative thinking patterns, ADHD, and emotional regulation. At the core of her work is helping clients reconnect with what matters most, getting clear on core values, reworking unhelpful patterns, and creating space for deeper self-compassion.

In her work with couples, Natalia draws from the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy to help partners strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and create shared meaning in their relationships. She has a particular interest in supporting couples navigating disconnection, repair, and major life changes, as well as those working through the aftermath of toxic relationship patterns.

Her therapeutic style is collaborative and empowering, blending a systemic lens with evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the Gottman Method Level 1 & 2, and Narrative Therapy. She also incorporates psychoeducation to provide clients with practical tools and insights that support long-term growth.

Natalia believes that therapy is not just about getting through a difficult moment, it is about using those moments as opportunities to grow into a stronger, more authentic version of yourself, with relationships that reflect your values and support a fulfilling future.
