Natalia Beltran

Natalia Beltran is a compassionate and dedicated Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern with a strong focus on supporting children, middle schoolers, teens, individuals, and the elderly. She specializes in addressing issues such as transitions, grief, anger, anxiety, and depression.

Natalia utilizes a diverse range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy, Art Therapy, Group Therapy, Family Therapy, Marital/Couples Therapy, and the School Readiness Parenting Program (SRPP).

Her passion lies in working with children and teens, helping them to first identify and understand their emotions and recognize how these emotions impact their thoughts and actions. She empowers her clients by guiding them through various coping and grounding techniques, both in and out of sessions, to help them build resilience and emotional regulation.

For adults, Natalia provides evidence-based cognitive-behavioral therapy to help manage anxiety and stress, enabling them to develop effective coping strategies for a more balanced life. She also works closely with families, facilitating open and constructive dialogue to strengthen relationships and resolve conflicts through family therapy. Natalia’s individualized approach to therapy is rooted in her belief that each client’s needs and preferences should guide the therapeutic process. She strives to make each client feel understood and supported, tailoring her interventions to what works best for them.

Natalia’s inspiration for becoming a mental health professional came from reading her favorite book, "A Child Called It," during her freshman year of high school. The resilience and determination of the author in overcoming childhood adversity left a lasting impact on her and ignited her desire to help children, families, and parents. This novel also deepened her understanding of the importance of family dynamics and positive parenting in preventing adverse childhood experiences.

Outside of her professional life, Natalia enjoys relaxing by catching up on her favorite Netflix series, engaging in DIY crafts, and using her Cricut machine to create memorable items for her friends and family.
